Happy New Year
Happy 2013 everyone! I hope you had a fantastic break, and if you’re still on holiday I hope you are relaxing as much as possible. Christmas and New Year was a very quiet time here, with lots of time spent watching movies, cuddling cats, and eating my body weight in food.
I also had the pleasure of dog sitting Snowy, a bouncy young Belgian Shepherd. She was a total delight, and spent her time going on huge walks, cuddling up on the couch, and being terrorised by the cats. Having Snowy stay really made me realise how much I am ready for a dog in my life, so watch this space!
Over the break I only took my camera out once, to document Harry and Justin B’s reaction to me letting a dog loose in their house. I think Justin has forgiven me, but Harry might still be holding a slight grudge.
I’m currently scheduling shoots for late January/early February. I’ve also had a complete pricing revamp, with some amazing new print packages available. If you would like a complete 2013 print and session guide contact me on erin@erinmcnulty.com.
Super Pet Warehouse Opening Weekend
Super Pet Warehouse in Chirnside Park recently had their grand opening weekend, and I jumped at the chance to be involved. Super Pet Warehouse do not sell puppies or kittens, rather they work with Second Chance Animal Rescue to help re-home abandoned and unwanted animals. Their store is gorgeous, with every single product under the sun. Plus the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable!
I was there to do mini pet portrait sessions, with all proceeds going to Second Chance. It was an awesome day and I met some great dogs and their owners, enjoy the pictures!
I’m currently taking bookings for 2013 sessions, so get in touch today to secure your spot!
A Birthday Surprise
This shoot was a pretty special one, in that it had to be kept absolutely top secret. My client wanted to surprise her husband for his birthday with some gorgeous shots of his dogs, as well as of his kids. It’s so rare that people want to be in photos with their pets, so it was great to have four wonderful willing subjects. The love they all have for Geordie is so obvious, and he is often referred to as the fifth sibling. Their two other dogs, L and Cookie, are as cheeky as they come and they loved posing – Cookie especially so after she saw the treats.
The bond between this family and their pets is so special, and it was a real honour to do this shoot – enjoy!
