Harry and Justin B are very spoilt – their lovely Aunty Erika gave them this cat tunnel for them to play in! They’ve spent most of the Easter break inside it, although Harry hasn’t quite grasped the concept of playing in it. I hope you’re all having a wonderful break!
My mother would often comment on cats’ whiskers – pointing out particularly magnificent ones and expressing disappointment when they were distinctly short or sparse. As such, it’s one of the first things I notice about a cat. Lucky for me, my two are both in possession of some very strong and handsome whiskers.
This year has been more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed, both professionally and personally. I have met the most amazing people and I’ve photographed so many gorgeous cats and dogs, each one unique and special. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some truly inspiring people working in rescue, and I’ve made some great new friends along the way.
This year was also full of personal highlights, including my trip to India, fostering and adopting Justin Bieber, and running a half marathon. I couldn’t have done any of this without the constant, unwavering support from my incredible boyfriend Jeremy. He is my biggest cheerleader and so integral to helping me run my business.

So to all my fantastic clients, the beautiful team at Saffron on the Hill (especially Karen), everyone who has taken the time to comment on my work, to all of those who work so hard rescuing and rehabilitating animals, and to all of you who I will meet in 2013 – thank you, and please have a magical Christmas and a very happy New Year. I’ll be back on board January 3rd, ready to rock 2013!
We may not celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia, but I think it’s always a good idea to voice the things that your are grateful for. I’m thankful for my business and all my fantastic clients, who allow me to do what I do. I’m thankful for my wonderful supportive partner and all the new friends I’ve made this year. And above all I’m thankful for these two gorgeous boys, who make my life truly complete. What are you thankful for?
