Melbourne Pet Photography Fundraiser – Super Pet Warehouse Chirnside Park

I spent today at Super Pet Warehouse in Chirnside Park, doing mini photoshoots in exchange for donations to Second Chance Animal Rescue. It was a great day and I met an awesome variety of dogs, from Chinese Hairless to German Pointers to teeny Poodles. I’ll share a few more pictures from the day later this week, but I thought I’d give you a little peek at Willow – how cute is she?

Super Pet Warehouse are working in conjunction with Second Chance Animal Rescue to promote adoption – a wonderfully worthwhile cause, and one that I hope more and more pet shops will get behind. I highly recommend stopping in at either their Coburg or Chirnside stores, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a fantastic rage of products.

Three Cool Pugs on a Hot Melbourne Day

I originally met the gorgeous pugs Caulfield and Harold at the Saffron on the Hill open day, and they’ve been waiting all year for their turn in the spotlight. We had one of those hot Melbourne spring days for our photo shoot, so it was tongues out and lots of sitting down (humans and dogs). Harold and Caulfield were joined by their sister Elsie – and I think you’ll agree that they are three super photogenic dogs!

Caulfield is a super cheeky handsome boy with a great smile

Harold loved playing up to the camera – he’s a bit of a poser

The gorgeous Elsie takes some time to reflect on life

All tuckered out

The Best of October

If September’s theme was puppies, October’s theme seemed to be cats. I had the pleasure of photographing the amazing Sushi and Sesame – and I think it’s one of my favourite shoots to date.

Of course, no month is complete without Harry making an appearance

I also wrote about ways that you can get involved with rescue, a subject very close to my heart

And speaking of rescue, Jeremy and I made some wonderful new friends at Saffron on the Hill

Doris and Albert

Doris and Walter lapping up the cuddles

Sir Francis, who is slowly coming out of his shell

Stella and Boots’ owner chose these two beautiful images to be printed onto silk canvas – imagine coming home to these amazing faces every day!

Last but not least, I’ve been getting ready for the Christmas rush. If you’re looking for a gift for the pet lover in your life, email me to find out more about the gift packages I can offer you. If you’d like to book a session for yourself as a Christmas present, get in touch as soon as possible because there are only a few dates left for the rest of the year! And if you’re looking for some suggestions on what to get your pet loving partner, friend. or family member, have a read of my Christmas post.

I’ve got some awesome sessions to share with you over the next few weeks, including Cinder the Shiba Inu puppy, some gorgeous pugs, and a super secret photo shoot that I did as a surprise birthday gift – so join me over on Facebook to keep up with the latest news.

I’ll leave you with a picture of Arthur – the most car loving dog you’ll ever meet, who is always so sad when it’s over
