I just got home from photographing Carly and her five (yes, five) brothers – she was just too tired to pay attention to me, it must be hard work being so adorable! Carly is available for adoption through Paws and Tails Rehoming – click here to view her PetRescue profile.
Diesel
The heat in Melbourne is still pretty brutal – 36 today, 42 tomorrow, with another hot week after that. This means that shoots start early, and I’ve been loving getting up when it’s still cool. Today’s shoot with Diesel was in perfect conditions, and he was just soooo photogenic – I can’t wait to share his session with you all!
Big Brother
Justin B has finally accepted that he’s not the baby of the house anymore, and is taking his big brother duties seriously.
Sally and Molly – Birman Ragdoll Crosses
Beautiful. Stunning. Adorable. Gorgeous. Words simply cannot describe how incredibly photogenic and wonderful these two were – from their soft, fluffy fur, to their piercing blue eyes, everything about them was magic. Sally is Molly’s big sister, and she was a bit more reserved, preferring to stand back and watch the action. Molly was your classic playful kitten, full of energy and spunk.
One of the moments I love so much is at the end of a shoot, after all the manic running around, when eyes start to close and they become sleepy. Little Molly fell asleep standing up she was so tired, and it was my favourite photo of the session. Thanks Jo for having me photograph your babies, it was a blast!

Melbourne Pet Ambulance Auction
I’ve recently donated a voucher to the Melbourne Pet Ambulance Facebook Auction, with all proceeds going to the MPA to help them with the rescue work that they do. Their rescue work receives no government funding, so they rely on the kindness of donations from the public in order to continue their generous work.
The voucher is for a photo shoot for your gorgeous pet, as well as a complimentary print. To bid on this and other great pet products, head on over to MPA’s Facebook page. Bids close the 23rd of February.
