Lorenzo had waited so patiently for his forever home at the shelter. A sweet, happy, and lovely natured boy, he must have been so confused as to why he was constantly passed up for younger, cuter, less “scary” looking dogs. Nine months after he arrived, he was finally taken to his forever home, where he is the most wonderfully loved and adored dog. He goes on huge walks every day with his mum, as many cuddles as he wants, and he loves to sit on visitor’s laps like a big baby. Lorenzo showed me that more than anything, if you are patient, be yourself, and kind to others, good things will eventually happen – and you too will get your happy ending.
Josie
Josie – thirteen years young, queen of all she surveys, and a top notch guard dog. Likes – her mum and dad, her stuffed toy. Dislikes – the strange lady with the camera (well, until the treats came out).
Lucinda, Bob, and a Special Valentine
It’s been quite the week here – a roller coaster of emotions. On Thursday, my sweet little foster girl Lucinda went to her forever home. Her beautiful new owners knew how sad I was, and they presented me with chocolates, roses, and a teddy bear. From terrified to terrific, Lucinda has been an amazing little girl – and she is going to be loved like crazy with her new humans.
And although I missed Lucinda terribly, I’ve had no time to be sad, because Bob, aka the World’s Frendliest Kitten, has arrived at my place and has made himself quite at home. He’s decided he might as well take up photography as a hobby while he waits for his new home. He’s up for adoption through Paws and Tails, so if you’d like to meet Bob, head on over to his Pet Rescue profile to find out more.
On Valentines Day, I worked non stop, so I treated myself to pizza. You can imagine my delight when Dixie turned up to help her Dad deliver it! Dixie is a very special girl, she’s a seeing eye dog and loves cats – even if the are not so keen on her.
Thor
Today’s shoot was with the absolutely gorgeous Thor – despite his name he really was a bit of a teddy bear. I will be sharing the rest of his session in the next few weeks so stay tuned!
Herding Cats
I think that trying to organise six kittens in a row to have their photo taken is the very definition of “trying to herd cats”. I took this shot at a recent rescue shoot – all these beautiful babies are up for adoption through PAT
