As a photographer, there’s no greater honour than when another photographer hires you! Elle is an AMAZING newborn photographer, and she got in touch with me this year to arrange a shoot for her dad as a birthday gift – his beautiful old boy Speck is 15, and has started slowing down a lot. He’s mostly deaf and blind, but his nose was still in great working order! His younger brother Phantom is your typical young Sheltie, an agility super star and full of beans. The shoot was at their beautiful property out in Warragul, Gippsland, and would you believe that it was done in the middle of winter? It was a gorgeous day and the pups brought their best modelling game – check out Speck’s fur blowing gently in the breeze!

Spring Pet Photo Fundraiser – Project Underdog Rescue
Big dogs, small dogs, puppies, seniors – this weekend had pretty much every kind of dog you could imagine! I spent a sunny Sunday down in Frankston at the Pet’s Day Out in Ballam Park with the Project Underdog Team, fundraising with a super cute and super fun spring photo booth! A big thank you to everyone who brought their pups by for a portrait, and to all the generous people who donated throughout the day
Milly the Pugalier at Albert Park Beach
Sand on her nose, waves on her feet, and a huge smile on her face – Milly had the most fun at her beach session! Just like me, Milly is a true beach lover and she had the best time racing up and down the sand, sniffing seaweed and paddling in the sea. Thanks Melbourne for turning on the most beautiful weather for us!
Alfie the Staffy Cross on a Melbourne Spring Day
This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the handsomest of dogs, in the prettiest of locations, on the most glorious of spring afternoons. Happy and sweet Alfie loved all the smells and sights of Darebin Parklands, and posed very happily for the camera (and for some delicious treats, of course). Stay tuned for more photos of this spunky man!
Mochi the Toy Poodle in the Royal Botanic Gardens
In this day and age of highly groomed pups, it’s so refreshing to see a poodle left to all his fluffy glory! Mochi is the cutest little fluffball and we had lots of fun roaming around the Botanic Gardens in South Yarra, capturing his mega fluffiness and super cute little face.
