A little preview of Ruby, one of three beautiful dogs I had the pleasure of photographing on Saturday. I’ll share Maggie and Jasmine’s portraits during the week, so stay tuned!

Harry and Justin B are very spoilt – their lovely Aunty Erika gave them this cat tunnel for them to play in! They’ve spent most of the Easter break inside it, although Harry hasn’t quite grasped the concept of playing in it. I hope you’re all having a wonderful break!
“How it is that animals understand things I do not know, but it is certain that they do understand. Perhaps there is a language which is not made of words and everything in the world understands it. Perhaps there is a soul hidden in everything and it can always speak, without even making a sound, to another soul.”
Frances Hodgson Burnett
Last year I had the pleasure of collaborating with Nature’s Gift Australia for their redesign of their dog food range. My models were Rose and Rocco, two super happy, super excited Jack Russell Terriers who had fantastic modelling skills, as well as never ending energy. It was a challenging shoot – we had a wide range of shots that we wanted to achieve in a small amount of time, and as always Melbourne’s weather was unpredictable. However with some great team work, a few treats, and a ton of praise, we got the shots we wanted and I’m thrilled with the results. The range will be hitting supermarket shelves very shortly – my range of canine testers seem particularly keen on the Kangaroo mini treats!

Here is a quick preview of some one of the many amazing cats and kittens available for adoption through Forever Friends Animal Rescue – it took all my willpower not to sneak off with this gorgeous little man! If you’re looking to adopt a cat or kitten this year head on over to their website for more information.
