I recently fosted three black cats, and have photographed dozens more – so today I’m going to give you nine reasons why you should adopt a black cat, along with photographic evidence.

Nobody knows why, but they have an innate ability with cameras
2.) They are very tech savvy, and love to help with your IT issues
3.) They are very snappy dressers, and look good in all colours
4.) In addition to their IT skills, they also love to help out with the laundry
5.) When your cats are all black, they will always be matching
6.) They are avid readers, and are highly skilled on sitting on the magazine you want to read
7.) They are easy to find when you lose them in the bed
9.) But they are also experts at hiding in plain sight
